What do you daydream about?

I'm a big daydreamer. While I drive my mind will wander. If the kids are quite and I'm sitting at a stop light, fanciful fantasies will take me away... at least until the light turns green or my kids start screaming, whichever comes first.

If I'm standing in line at the grocery store by myself, or washing dishes and everyone else is occupied, I'll have little daydreams about a variety of things. Yes, sometimes I definitely look like I'm "zoning".

I didn't really think much about my daydreams... but some say it's good for you!
"The connection between daydreaming and health is a personal realization from one who was addicted to daydreaming for close to forty years! I am not only a healthy, pharmaceutical free babyboomer but I am frequently told I look much younger than my actual age."
Margaret Ryan
And the

Associated Content article
says,
"No one wants to get caught by the boss daydreaming. It's considered unproductive to let your mind wander when there's work to be done. Actually, daydreaming can make you more productive, better at problem solving, brain storming and even make you happier."

Yeah! So, see... it's good for you to totally zone out and daydream. I bet most of us daydream. So fess up, what do you daydream about when your mind begins to wander? Do you dream about being married to Brad Pitt? Or winning the lottery and planning out how you would spend the money? Or do you daydream about your child becoming a doctor, lawyer, or... rodeo clown? Do you daydream about being a character in your favorite tv show?

So, how about it? What are those daytime fantasies that fill your mind?

I am a constant daydreamer, its part of being a Pisces I guess, even when I try not to.
I always seem to dream about what could have been or some totally unreal life that's not going to happen, Lol!

I daydream about winning the lottery and how I would spend/share it. Oh yeah, and looking up old boyfriends (let's just keep that one between the two of us lol). Reality knows this one is much more dangerous than what it's worth - hence 'daydream' lol

Yes, winning the lottery comes up a lot. Also having a housekeeper. ;-)

Thanks for stopping by today. I day dream about having more money. I know crazy but with the way things are I just wish everyone had some. I may think about dream jobs like a wedding planner, or things of the past or future. I am a day dreamer and a thinker for sure.

You know, I used to daydream all the time. Then I got married and had kids, and either I don't have time or I am happier, I don't know which. It used to help me fall asleep, though, now I can't think of what to daydream about. If I dream of having lots of money, it will just make me stress about NOT having it. Sheesh. some people can never be happy

I daydream about characters in the novel I'm writing and how I want scenes to play out. I've gotten in trouble though, if I daydream while I'm driving! Not a good plan. Ha, ha, ha!

When I was a kid, I daydreamed a lot - about climbing mountains, dancing in MTV videos, marrying a cute boy, being kidnapped and rescued by a handsome prince.

Mmmmm...Now, I daydream about having lots of money someday and paying bills without wondering where the money will come from and having a large savings account and college funds for my son.

My, how the daydreams have changed! Ha ha!

I day dream all the time too. It's often of vacations or any place warm! I think it is definitely healthy to daydream, it gives us hope!

Visiting from SITS. I like your blog and am now following and looking forward to reading more.

I've been daydreaming a ton lately. Usually, my daydreams are somewhat romantic. They usually come from books I have read. I also daydream about performing, I like music and dance, but I'm not good enough to go pro.
